Le Croissant

When we approached the rebranding of Le Croissant, it was never about simply refreshing a logo or introducing a new color. It was about redefining how the brand is perceived.

Le Croissant was strongly associated with a very traditional French bakery image  black and white tones, classic typography, and a calm, predictable look that has been repeated across the market for years. The question for us was clear: why replicate the expected version of Paris, when we can present a new one?

Our direction was to move away from the postcard Paris and focus instead on modern Paris the city of refined boutiques, elegant cafés, and effortless confidence. A Paris that feels minimal, stylish, and contemporary.

Visually, we adopted a Modern Parisian approach. Clean line art subtly referencing French architecture without falling into cliché. Generous white space to create sophistication and clarity. Typography that feels calm, yet self-assured.

The most defining decision, however, was color.

In the dessert category, brands tend to lean toward safe palettes   pastels, browns, muted greens. Familiar and comfortable. We chose light yellow instead   intentionally and strategically.

This yellow  draws inspiration from butter, the core ingredient of every croissant. It feels warm and authentic, yet bold enough to stand apart. It captures attention immediately while maintaining elegance. In a crowded market, it creates instant recognition.

Over time, yellow evolved from a design choice into a brand signature. From storefront stripes to packaging, cups, uniforms, and every brand touchpoint, the identity now operates with one cohesive visual language   clear, confident, and scalable.

Through this transformation, Le Croissant shifted from being perceived as a traditional French bakery to becoming a contemporary brand rooted in the spirit of modern Paris.

We didn’t abandon the origin   we reinterpreted it with clarity and strength. The rebrand wasn’t just a visual upgrade; it was a strategic repositioning, preparing the brand for growth and stronger market presence
