Designing visual branding and a brand manual for a fashion designer presents a unique challenge, especially that’s the client is another professional in the field.
The process of creating a visual identity for RISE (a brand-new athlete techwear and sportswear line) needed from us preparation and study as a crucial for this project to ensure our success.
Iconic Symbolism:
During Lasheen’s creative team comprehensive study, research, and analysis, we discovered that renowned premium sportswear brands have successfully established iconic symbols, Like Nike’s swoosh symbol, Adidas’ three stripes, and PUMA’s jumping cat. Inspired by these iconic logos and drawing upon our admiration for Under Armour and New Balance, we aimed to develop a distinctive and memorable logo for Rise. We decided to focus on the letter “R” as the central element of the logo.
The (R) Pictogram:
In our pursuit of an iconic logo, we created a pictogram using the letter “R.” This pictogram symbolizes an athlete commencing their run and striving for glory. The rounded edges of the (R) symbol convey a sense of safety, comfort, and strength—attributes that individuals can expect to experience when wearing Rise’s techwear line.
In addition to the pictogram, we paid meticulous attention to selecting typography that would effectively convey the brand name, “RISE.” The rounded edges of the letters in “RISE” further reinforce the brand’s message of feeling safe, comfortable, and strong. The chosen font exudes fluidity and motion, reflecting the dynamic nature of the athlete techwear and sportswear.
We aimed craft something new and to the point, ensuring our client can reach his audience easily with our creative quality.
