From Al-Khobar (Al Olaya) to the whole Tenderverse!
When our client in Saudi Arabia decided to launch a pizza chain, they chose to leave the most important part of the beginning move to Lasheen: the name + the full visual identity.
Where’s the challenge??? The city of Al-Khobar is full of cultures (Arabs, East Asians, foreigners, and Africans)… so the brand name had to make sense to everyone.
That’s where we came in with the strike: Ninja’s Pizza
Inspired by the legendary Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles whose favorite food was pizza – and whose global fame makes the name instantly understood and loved.
We started the designs with a modern style, friendly fonts, fiery colors that reflect the hotness of pizza straight from the oven, and a look that’s neither purely thin Italian nor traditionally pan American… because it’s simply offering a different pizza experience somewhere in between.
We also created custom ninja icons for the packaging and staff uniforms so people immediately connect with the idea.
And we proposed that the delivery box be Octagonal, inspired by the ninja star (shuriken) they use in battles.
The proud of exporting our ideas outside Egypt is always huge – and even bigger when we see them come to life.
Two weeks ago… Ninja’s opened their first branch in Al-Khobar (Al Olaya) – soft opening… and the game has just begun!
