From Sarajevo to Dubai,
the story of Bousnivic was crafted from scratch by Lasheen .
Starting with the name, we intentionally incorporated the letters “VIC,” symbolizing the connection to countries of the former Soviet Union.
We then created the slogan, reflecting the authentic Bosnian culinary spirit:
“A Taste from Sarajevo.”
This marked the beginning of the visual branding journey for Bousnivic , a restaurant specializing in Bosnian-style grilled meats and kebabs, soon to open at Global Village Dubai.
After finalizing the name and tagline, we dived deep into Bosnian art.
We discovered traditional patterns used in clothing, home décor, and carpets — vibrant expressions of their culture — and integrated them thoughtfully into the brand identity.
We also designed a unique logo inspired by the Bosnian people’s mixed heritage, shaped by centuries of interaction with Russians & Ukrainians .
From logo to store façade, staff uniforms, menu design, and packaging elements,
we brought Bousnivic to life — a brand that tells a story of tradition, authenticity, and bold craftsmanship.
