FATTOURA

Feteer, an old Egyptian pastry with centuries of history, nowadays has undergone a fascinating transformation in recent years. As restaurants strive to differentiate themselves in a competitive market, they have begun to experiment with innovative additions and variations, particularly in the realm of sweet feteer.
When our client set with LASHEEN at the initial meeting to illustrate his intention to open feteer restaurant, but he needed our suggestions and concept in all his business strategy, Lasheen guided his client to develop a new idea for feteer, resulting in the creation of mini circular feteera meshalteta. This led to the idea of the brand name “Fattoura ‘’, a playful nickname for feteer, as we imagine the mini feteera like a small girl having nickname.
along with a tagline emphasizing the ability to create savory, sweet, and mini feteer options.
(حلوه/ حادقه/ شطوره)
And shattoura means mini feteera.
Furthermore, LASHEEN started the project from scratch, brand name, then developing the typo logo by Arabic Typograph (as it’s an old Egyptian business), moving through selecting patterns and choosing color palettes that evoke warmth (orange) and coldness (purple) for the sour and sweet feteer ranges.
